Fashion Creative — VT Fashion Merchandising & Design
From sketch to Vizcom render to finished garment — I design, build, and style from the ground up.
About
I'm a junior studying Fashion Merchandising and Design at Virginia Tech, with a passion for the full creative process — from concept to construction to the final styled image. I'm drawn to work that lives at the intersection of research, design, and storytelling.
Right now I'm developing an independent project: a strawberry miniskirt with pleats that started as a hand sketch, went through a 2D AI rendering on Vizcom, and is currently being sewn by hand — finishing with a full styled photoshoot. It's the kind of end-to-end creative practice I bring to everything I do.

Intimate silhouettes redefining luxury
This trendboard explores the intersection of comfort and confidence in contemporary lingerie. From delicate lacework to bold, structural pieces. Drawing inspiration from brands like Fleur du Mal, Savage X Fenty, and emerging runway moments. this board tracks the shift toward inclusive, expressive intimate apparel that celebrates individuality.
Oversized silhouettes & shield lenses
A trend research board exploring the resurgence of oversized and shield-frame sunglasses across runway and street style. Pulling references from Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and beyond.
Independent Project — In Progress
What starts with a pencil doesn't have to end there. This project traces a single garment from initial hand sketch through a 2D AI rendering on Vizcom, into construction — currently being sewn by hand — and will finish with a full styled photoshoot.

Independent Project — Industrial Design
Starting with a real pair of sunglasses, I disassembled the frames, sketched every component, and rebuilt the design digitally in Adobe Illustrator. The vector file was fed directly into a laser cutter to precisely cut each bamboo layer — then hand-pieced and assembled into a finished three-part frame.

A student-run product line designed for the Virginia Tech bookstore
Given a real budget brief, our team designed a four-piece collection — a crossover denim skirt, Hokie racecar jacket, matching frilly set, and mid-rise denim skirt — targeting VT college women aged 18–23. The project covered full trend analysis (drawing from Gucci, Chanel, Miu Miu Spring 2024), SWOT analysis against competitors like Princess Polly and Free People, a specification sheet with measurements, and a social media marketing strategy built around the Hokie Bird.
Four original designs inspired by Marcelo Gaia's romantic, body-celebrating aesthetic
Designed a four-look collection for Mirror Palais — a pink mini skirt, black maxi skirt, red heart top with chain, and white top with chain — taking each piece from initial watercolor croquis through hand-drawn flat sketches, Adobe Illustrator digital flats, and full POM specification packs with graded measurements. The project was grounded in research into Marcelo Gaia's design philosophy: sustainability through pre-orders, cultural identity, and flattering all body types.
An original 7-piece collection inspired by Australian brand Outcast — bold, feminine, fearlessly confident
Inspired by Outcast's celebration of individuality and bold femininity, I designed a seven-piece collection — a light blue cowl neck top with gold chain strap, cropped black corset, white micro shorts, low rise pants, fuchsia scoop neck corset, ruffle mini skirt, and a wrap bodycon dress in a custom dark leopard and star print. The project included a complete line sheet with fabric content and delivery specs, a full color card (12 colors named from Flirtatious Fuchsia to Diamond Dust), a custom print page, a bill of materials, and a detail tech pack with front/back views and construction annotations for the hero piece.
